Monk Fruit, also known as Luo Han Guo is a small tropical melon found in southern China over 800 years ago. The full scientific name of the fruit is Siraitia Grosvenorii. The actual monk fruit is almost 20 times sweeter than other fruit juices, while their extracts are almost 150-200 times sweeter than sucrose.
